I would be a comic book artist in another life, spending every waking moment designing superheroes and thinking about the next run of my series. So, color me surprised when I discovered a new passion for English literature and continental philosophy in college.

After graduate school, I spent a year teaching composition to first-year college students before taking a writing position at a tax software company. Since 2014, I have spent my days covering the latest tax industry news on Taxing Subjects, the Drake Software blog.

When not at the office, I pencil in time with my wife and daughters.
