The value of coaching with no expiration date
Energized by his new role as managing partner and with a clear focus on fully implementing the Rightworks Academy business model, Dylan jumped into coaching immediately. “As a member, I don’t have to make this journey alone—ever. I think that is what stalls a lot of firms’ progress in making big changes—they are out at sea with no one to guide them in the right direction. I have a partner [the entire Rightworks Academy team] supporting me, and that keeps me motivated and on track.”
After just a few calls with his coach, Dylan began seeing positive results—specifically in the areas of client experience and firm productivity. Directed by his coach, a few initial key initiatives were to: 1) become more intentional about the type of clients he onboarded and 2) offer products to serve clients efficiently and profitably.

Also on the advice of his coach, Dylan now schedules time to work on his firm. “Every Friday, I set aside two hours to focus on firm priorities—whether it’s an assignment from my coach or setting up a new billing system. This a non-negotiable appointment on my calendar.”
